October 1 meeting highlights

This week's Showcase was a special one. Tim Wegscheider of Lakeshore Floors & More generously gave up his showcase time to introduce Sarah Meslow of Camp Odayin, a camp for children living with congenital heart disease.

Camp Odayin is a place where kids play, worries rest, and fun happens. Sarah shared with us that congenital heart defects are the most common type of birth defect, affecting nearly 40,000 births in the United States each year. Jason Gorman of Keller Williams took home the trophy for best commercial this week as he shared about what sets him apart in a sea of 175,000 realtors. Jason goes above and beyond, guiding buyers to get the best value at closing, showing them where the real value lies, and helping fix what others overlook. Well done, Jason!

John Grose of J&J Handyman Services earned the runner-up honors with a timely reminder that the days are getting shorter and it's time to get things winterized. It’s better to do that sooner than later!
